Job description
A full-time Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Family Medicine Physician is needed to join a well-established primary care practice in Jasper, Texas. This is a 100% outpatient position focused on providing comprehensive, high-quality care to a diverse patient population in a supportive community setting.
Job Responsibilities
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
Strong clinical and interpersonal skills
Comfortable seeing 18–22 patients per day
Dedication to patient-centered, community-oriented care
Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
Active Texas medical license, or eligibility to obtain one
Eligible to work in the United States
Clinical experience in an outpatient setting preferred (but not required)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to see and manage 18–22 patients per day in a team-based model
Commitment to high-quality, evidence-based care
Interest in rural or community-based medicine is a plus
Working Hours
Call Requirements: None (Outpatient only)
Setting: Clinic-based, no hospital rounds or inpatient duties
Skills
Skilled in preventive care, wellness checks, and routine screenings
Ability to perform minor in-office procedures (e.g., suturing, joint injections, skin lesion removal)
Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication with patients, families, and care teams
Ability to explain complex medical information in an understandable and empathetic manner
Interpersonal Skills:
Compassionate bedside manner
Works well in a team-based care environment with nurses, APCs, and other providers
Culturally sensitive and respectful in a diverse patient population
