• A growing, ACGME-accredited Family Medicine Residency Program in southwest Georgia is seeking a full-time Core Faculty physician with a passion for teaching and full-spectrum Family Medicine.

Position Highlights

• Competitive guaranteed salary (negotiable based on GME experience/fellowship)
• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Mix of clinic, resident precepting, and protected GME administrative time
• No overnight call required (optional inpatient or OB coverage)
• Average clinic volume: 10–12 patients per half day
• Teaching includes precepting, didactics, curriculum development, and resident mentorship
• Faculty experience not required; on-the-job GME training provided

Clinical Scope

• Outpatient full-spectrum Family Medicine continuity care
• Teaching and supervision in clinic, inpatient medicine, and low-risk obstetrics
• Procedures include LARC placement/removal, joint injections (with/without ultrasound), skin procedures, I&Ds, Pap smears, and more

Requirements

• MD or DO
• Completion of an accredited Family Medicine Residency
• Board-certified or board-eligible (ABFM or AOBFM)
• Georgia license or IMLC eligibility
