Family Medicine in Southern IL
30 minutes to Carbondale
60 miles to downtown St. Louis
80 miles to St. Louis Lambert International Airport (STL)
175 miles to Kentucky Lake
3 ½ hours to Louisville
4 hours to Memphis & Nashville
Join 3 Physicians and 4 APP's in a Hospital employed group. Replace a physician who is relocating closer to family.
- 20 bed Hospital built in 2015
- normally runs 8-10 inpatients.
- Monday - Friday round on your own patients - if you have any admitted.
- 4-10’s or 5-8’s / week
- Weekend coverage is 1:4
- 8-10 patients swing beds/LTC patients
- 3-4 acute care
- NP Hospitalist on staff that does ordering, H&P, Discharge Summary, etc. so you see the patients and give the NP hospitalist directions/orders.
- RARELY have to go into the Hospital
- Physician on staff has gone in twice in 9 years
- Physician on staff has gone in twice in 9 years
- 8-10 patients swing beds/LTC patients
- Hospital built a Rehab Center in 2020 and did an 11M dollar expansion of the hospital adding a Med Center.
