About This Opportunity:
CareATC is currently looking for a Physician that will work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary treatment team to provide exceptional patient care. The CareATC approach is to work with our patient population to assist in chronic disease management through individual interventions, clinic support and ongoing education.
We are looking for a board certified Family Physician to work at our clinic serving the employees and families of Albemarle County, VA. This will be a newly built clinic and the physician will work with a team of a Nurse Practitioner, Mental Health Professional, Physical Therapist, and Medical Assistants. There are no weekends, holidays, or on call hours.
CareATC has a Primary Care Physician (PCP) opening in Charlottesville, VA
- Work Schedule: Clinic-based, 40 hours per week.
- No Medicare/Medicaid billing required.
- Clinic services and medications are low-to-no-cost to patients.
- Average 2-2.5 patients per hour
- No on-call

Compensation & Clinical Schedule:
- Predictable Hours: Monday through Friday schedule with a shared weekend rotation limited to two Saturday half-days monthly.
- The Physician: Consistent schedule allowing for work-life balance, no on-call schedule or holiday schedules. Allows for consistent income with manageable productivity expectations
- Annual Compensation: Base salary starting at $275k–$285k, commensurate with experience.

Job Responsibilities
Provide Virtual care to patients when needed and clinically appropriate.
Experience providing primary care and diagnostic services in a clinical setting.
Experience prescribing appropriate medications, treatments, and health regimens to treat patient health Issues
DEA required for prescribing and dispensing
Ability to pass on-site credentialing
Board Certified in primary care or another related field. (if board eligible, must be willing to obtain board certification)
Degree from an accredited United States Medical School
Must complete and pass a residency program in the United States
Comply with all medical laws and HIPAA standards
Current license in the state or states where physician will practice.
Strong desire to promote health, disease management and prevention.
