Annashae is seeking a Facility Medical Director to fulfill the following responsibilities: working under the direction of the Facility Director, ensuring compliance with facility policies and procedures, maintaining a Kentucky Board of Medical Licensure and Board certification, attending required trainings at personal cost, being on-call 24/7 (with a backup physician option), spending a minimum of forty hours per week on-site, overseeing and developing resident care policies, collaborating with staff on clinical decision-making, coordinating medical care within the facility, addressing health care concerns, attending regular meetings, providing necessary training, demonstrating knowledge of long-term care standards, clinical leadership, and promoting optimal resident outcomes. The Medical Director is also required to adhere to HIPAA and maintain various licensing requirements throughout their contract term.
