A health center in Brooklyn is currently seeking a Primary Care Physician for a promising opportunity with their growing team.
About the Opportunity
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours/week
- Hours: 8:00am to 5:00pm, 1 Saturday/month (will get day off during the week)
- Setting: Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC)
- Patient Population: Outpatient Ambulatory
Responsibilities:
The Primary Care Physician will:
- Provide primary care services to patients of all ages
- Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated patient care
- Participate in continuing education and professional development activities
Qualifications:
- Current unrestricted NYS medical license
- Unrestricted DEA certificate, Infection Control and Basic Life Support certifications
- Board Certified/Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine (MD or DO)
- Experience in an Outpatient setting
- Familiarity with Community Health Center operations
- Culturally competent with skills/experience working with diverse populations
