Job description
A Family Medicine Physician (or IM with Peds) to provide ongoing primary care coverage in the outpatient department for our partner clinic in Alpine, California. Any state license works for this position.
- Alpine, CA is located in the Cuyamaca Mountains. There are many outdoor recreational activities in the area, including hiking, fishing, and camping. For a more urban environment, the sunny beaches of San Diego are only an hour drive away.
- Our partner clinic is a Native American organization committed to protecting and improving the physical, mental and spiritual health of the surrounding American Indian community. It provides direct services through medical, dental, community health, and Kumeyaay Family Services. There are several tribes that are served in the area.
Job Responsibilities
Qualifications
• Board Certified in Family or Internal Medicine
• Able to provide primary care services/Geriatrics
• Must have an unrestricted CA state medical and DEA license
• Must have active BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications
• Must have a minimum of two (2) years community based medical practice and in health care delivery and clinical systems.
• Must be sensitive to Native American culture and values.
