Urgent: Family Medicine Providers needed in Lane County, Oregon

  • Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00 am -5:00 pm; 40 hours per week with no overtime, and no Call
  • Setting: 100% Outpatient Community Health Clinics
  • Requirements: Active OR license (must be clear of suspensions, revocations, or lapses more than 6 months) or ability to attain that license; BE/BC, Clean DEA, NPDB, Malpractice histories; FM or IM (outpatient) specialization
  • Census: 12-14 patients per day; 20 or 40 minute appointments. 20 min. 1-2 issues, 40 min. complex visit, physical, new patient, 3 or more issues.
  • Locum physician’s usually do not see new patients.
  • EMR: NextGen
  • Support Staff/Team: Team-based model, 2-3 providers on a Team and each have 1 roomer (LPN or MA), 1 RN and 1 PCC (Patient Care Coordinator)
  • Security: Security has never been big issue; however, there are protocols and P&P’s in place.
  • Location Information: Eugene/Springfield is a relatively small metro area with a lot of charm. They have 6 locations in the Eugene/Springfield area.
  • Credentialing Timeframe: 30-45 days; can be much faster if the provider's file is complete
  • Malpractice Insurance provided
  • New Oregon License: 8-10 weeks after the full application is received – Cost: $245
