Med Ninjas is seeking a Family Medicine Physician for long term locum tenens coverage at a outpatient facility in Saratoga, NY
The Physician must be available for the complete coverage block from Start Date to end date
Permanent Family Medicine Physician
Position Type: Permanent
Specialty: Physician - Family Medicine
Location: New York
Shift: 4- or 5-day work week, 40 hours per week
Start Date: Upon credentialing
End Date: Permanent
Position Details:
Patient Population: All ages
Setting: Outpatient primary care
Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive primary care, maintain 34 direct patient-facing hours within a 40-hour work week, collaborate with APPs, participate in teaching opportunities, and utilize EPIC for patient documentation
Required Procedures: Comprehensive outpatient primary care
EMR System: EPIC
Support Staff: APPs and RN triage support
Days Per Month: Full-time
On-Call/Weekends: Approximately 1:70 phone-only call with RN triage; telemedicine coverage for 2–3 hours on weekends once every 3 months; no in-office weekend hours
Submission Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
- Active NY License or willing to obtain
- DEA and ACLS certifications by start date
- Most recent NPDB Self Query Report within 30 days, required at presentation
