Schedule:

Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

• No call
• No weekends
• No rounding
• No admissions
• No block schedule

Clinical Responsibilities:

The physician will provide outpatient Family Medicine services to a diverse, all-age patient population.

No specific procedures are required. Experience with the following procedures is preferred:

• Skin excisions
• Punch biopsies
• Nexplanon insertion/removal
• IUD procedures
• Cryotherapy
• Toenail evulsions

Inpatient experience is not required, and rounding, admissions, and inpatient coverage are not part of the routine schedule.

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Family Medicine
• Alaska medical license required; candidates who are not currently licensed may be considered, though an active Alaska license is highly preferred for the anticipated start
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Recent clinical experience
• Epic charting experience required
• Candidate must demonstrate involvement as an admitting physician for at least 20 patients within the past 2 years
• Must be able to meet applicable credentialing and privileging requirements
