Description
Noor Locums is seeking a Board-Certified Family Medicine Physician for a long-term primary care opportunity in beautiful Florence, Oregon. This is a 12-month assignment offering a combination of outpatient clinic and inpatient hospital responsibilities, with a standard Monday–Friday schedule and shared call coverage.
The physician will care for a broad patient population ranging from newborns through geriatrics, with an average clinic volume of approximately 20 patients per day. Pediatric support is focused primarily on newborn assessments following delivery, with approximately 3–7 newborns per month.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Family Medicine physician seeking a long-term coastal Oregon assignment with a balanced clinic/hospital practice and shared call structure.
Job Responsibilities
See approximately 20 patients per clinic day
Care for patients from newborns through geriatrics
Perform inpatient rounding and admissions as appropriate
Provide newborn assessments following hospital deliveries
Participate in shared weeknight and weekend call coverage
Provide 24-hour weekend call when scheduled
Collaborate with OBGYN, hospitalists, nursing, respiratory therapy, and specialty teams
Manage routine Family Medicine conditions across a broad patient population
Provide care independently when scheduled
Document patient care using Epic EMR
Important: Obstetric care is not required. OBGYN physicians perform deliveries, and the Family Medicine physician's newborn responsibility is limited to assessment and care of the newborn, not the mother.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience
Active Oregon medical license required at time of presentation
Must have an active Oregon license; facility is not willing to license
BLS required
NRP required
Minimum 1 year of Epic experience
Recent Family Medicine clinical activity representative of requested privileges within the past 24 months
Ability to provide appropriate case logs or training documentation
Comfortable providing newborn assessments
Must meet facility credentialing and privileging requirements
COVID-19 vaccination required; no exemptions
Working Hours
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
8-hour scheduled shifts
Shared weeknight and weekend call
Call schedule expected to be approximately one week per month
24-hour weekend call when assigned
4 hours of gratis included for 24-hour weekend call
Expected assignment duration: 12 months
Start date: October 1, 2026
First day reserved for orientation activities
