Phelps Health is launching a new ACGME-accredited Family Medicine/OB residency program, welcoming its first residents in Summer 2028. Leadership & Faculty Opportunities
- Residency Program Director — lead the program's development and long-term direction
- Associate Program Director — partner in shaping curriculum and training structure
- Residency Faculty — teach, mentor, and help define what rural FM/OB training should look like

- We are our own sponsoring institution. Phelps Health isn't borrowing GME sponsorship from an outside academic center — we control the pace, priorities, and direction of this program directly.
- An experienced interim Program Director is already in place, focused specifically on developing and preparing the incoming faculty team before residents ever arrive — you won't be building this alone or without guidance.
- A people-centered approach. Our existing Family Medicine physicians are collaborative and genuinely eager to participate as faculty — this program is being built by people who want to teach, not physicians filling a requirement.

Compensation & Benefits
- Guaranteed base salary each year of contract, benchmarked to MGMA data
- Achievable wRVU bonus structure each year of contract
