Aya Locums has an immediate opening for a locum tenens Family Practice physician in Port Townsend, WA. This is an outpatient opportunity with Jefferson Healthcare Sheridan Primary Care, a Critical Access facility.
- Scope: family practice, women's health, and pediatric care
- Full spectrum women's health, outpatient primary care, plus admit/rounding
- Schedule: 3 days per week, 10-hour days (8 hours patient-facing, 2 hours admin)
- Call: at least once weekly plus a weekend in rotation with FP and OB providers
- Patient volume: 18+ per day; supportive team culture
- Staffing: panel share, MA, RN; EMR: EPIC. Housing and travel covered by client
Job Responsibilities
• Provide full spectrum women's health care (education and support of DNCs, not performing)
• Admit and round on patients as needed
• Participate in call rotation (at least once weekly plus a weekend) with FP and OB providers
• See 18+ patients per day
Qualifications
• Active Washington license or IMLC accepted (must have clean background to expedite credentialing)
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
• DEA and Washington CSR required
• 2 years experience preferred
Working Hours
Schedule: 3 days per week, 10-hour days (8 hours patient-facing, 2 hours admin). Open to 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off or alternating weeks. Call: at least once weekly plus a weekend in rotation.
