Job description
We are seeking a Primary Care physician with OB (Family Practice with OB) for a locum tenens position in Port Townsend, Washington. This is a full-spectrum family practice, women’s health, and pediatric role at a critical access hospital. IMLC accepted. Please see below for more information.
- Critical access hospital (Jefferson Healthcare Hospital / Sheridan Primary Care)
- Full-spectrum women’s health care, outpatient primary care, and pediatric care
- Includes C-section and neonatal admit/rounding (approximately 100-115 births per year)
- Patient volume 18+ per day; supportive team culture
- Clinic staffing model: panel share, MA, RN
- Epic EMR; housing and travel covered by client
Job Responsibilities
• Provide pediatric care (infants, pediatrics, adults)
• Perform C-sections and neonatal admit/rounding (approximately 100-115 births/year)
• Admit and round on inpatients
• Participate in call: at least once weekly (0700-0700) and a weekend in the rotation with FP and OB providers
Qualifications
• Active Washington license required (IMLC accepted)
• DEA and WA CSR required
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS required
• Must be willing to perform C-sections
• Experience in women’s health and pediatrics desired
• Credentialing timeframe: 90 days ideal (can move faster)
