Start Date: ASAP
Length of Assignment: 3 months
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8A–5P with a 1-hour lunch
Credentialing: Approximately 2 weeks (includes Tribal Board approval; board meets twice monthly)
Patient Volume: 12–15 patients per day
Procedures: Full-scope Family Medicine, including basic outpatient procedures, same-day visits, hypertension and diabetes management, chronic disease management, follow-up care, and comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages
Setting: Indian Health
EMR: RPMS (transitioning to Epic on July 14, 2026)
Licence Needed: Any active state license accepted (California license preferred)
Certifications: Board Certified or Board Eligible, Active DEA, BLS
Details:
Outpatient Family Medicine opportunity within an Indian Health setting providing comprehensive primary care across all age groups. Providers will manage preventive care, acute illnesses, chronic conditions, and same-day patient needs in a collaborative rural clinic environment. Candidates with prior Indian Health Service (IHS) or rural medicine experience are strongly preferred. The facility accepts any active state medical license, though California-licensed physicians are given preference.
