North Carolina Medical Center is seeking two primary care physicians (Family Medicine) Employed position, on-site positions for a FQHC Community Health Center. This is not a locum’s option.
Highlights
- Employed position, no call, no OB
- 2 ½ days per week, two sites
- Hourly pay: $132/hr
- Malpractice coverage provided
- Immediate need — start ASAP
- NC participates in the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact for expedited licensing
Schedule
- Monday – 9am -6pm – 8 hrs Gatesville NC one-hour unpaid lunch.
- Tuesday – 9am – 6 pm -8 hrs Elizabeth City NC one-hour unpaid lunch
- Wednesday – Gatesville – 9am- 1:00 pm 4 hrs
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care to adults and children
- Daily administrative time provided for charting, patient follow-up, and care coordination
- On-site coverage only (no remote/telework)
Qualifications
- Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine or related primary care specialty (must be certified/eligible within 24 months of residency completion)
- Valid North Carolina medical license in good standing (or eligible via the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact)
- No current medical malpractice claims or derogatory NPDB reports
Compensation & Benefits
- $132 per hour paid bi-weekly$5280
- Malpractice coverage included
