Primary Care Physician (Full-Time or ongoing locums coverage)

Position Overview
The Primary Care Physician provides comprehensive, continuous care to adult and pediatric patients, including preventive services, chronic disease management, and acute care. This role works across the full patient lifespan, delivering care to both adults and children. The physician works closely with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and improve patient outcomes.Key Responsibilities
- Provide preventive, acute, and chronic care services to patients of all ages
- Evaluate, diagnose, and develop treatment plans
- Prescribe medications and monitor effectiveness
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EHR systems
- Coordinate care with specialists and healthcare teams
- Support quality improvement initiatives and clinical protocols
- Manage a daily patient volume of approximately 20 patients
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or equivalent
- Active and unrestricted California medical license
- Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Current DEA registration and BCLS certification
- NPI number and eligibility for federal healthcare programs
- Experience working with underserved populations preferred
- Familiarity with electronic health records (eClinicalWorks preferred)
