A community-focused Critical Access Hospital is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible OB/GYN Physician to join an established and collaborative medical team. This opportunity is well-suited for a physician who values strong patient relationships, clinical autonomy, and meaningful community engagement.
Job Responsibilities
Manage prenatal, delivery, and postnatal patient care
Diagnose and treat a wide range of women’s health conditions
Perform gynecological procedures as appropriate
Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
Participate in shared call coverage
Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Eligible for state medical licensure
Interest in practicing in a rural, community-oriented setting
Skills
Gynecological diagnosis and treatment (including preventive care)
Surgical proficiency (e.g., C-sections, hysterectomy, minimally invasive procedures)
Ultrasound interpretation and fetal monitoring
Emergency management in obstetrics and gynecology
Patient safety and quality care practices
Interpersonal Skills
Strong patient communication and counseling
Empathy and sensitivity, especially in women’s health matters
Ability to build long-term patient relationships
Team collaboration with nurses, midwives, and other providers
Cultural awareness and community engagement
