Job description Position Details
Late Summer/Early Fall for a minimum of two weeks per month.
• Family Practice Physician (OB experience preferred) OB and/or Surgical OB Experience Preferred
• Schedule: 10-hour days I would like to have the flexibility to do Monday-Friday to help with coverage.
• Patient population: All ages
• Women’s health experience required

Clinical Scope & Workload
• How many patients are typically scheduled per day? 16-18
• Which EMR system is used? Cerner CommunityWorks
• Are there other providers or APPs on site (MDs, NPs, PAs)? MDs, DOs, NPs
• Are there any inpatient or call responsibilities? OB Call 1:3
• What procedures are expected (e.g., OB deliveries, suturing, joint injections, pap smears)? All of the above. IUD, Nexplanons, Toe Nail Removals, Excisions/Biopsies, Colposcopies, Casting/Splinting. If they don't do one of these it's not a deal breaker but these are the types of procedures we see in clinic.
• For women’s health, does this include prenatal care or deliveries, or only outpatient OB/GYN care? Preferably all of the above.
• How long is the initial assignment, and is there potential to extend? 6 months - to one year

Credentialing & Compliance
• How long does credentialing typically take? 3-6 months.
• Are an active Oregon license and DEA required at the time of submission? This is preferred.
• Are there any required vaccinations, certifications, or training (e.g., BLS, ACLS, OB-specific)? ACLS, NRP, For OB: Demonstrated current competence and evidence of at least 10 deliveries in the past 24 months. For C-Section: Demonstrated current competence and successful completion of a total of 30 cesarean births.

• Is mileage reimbursed for local candidates? Yes.

Credentialing:
What is the processing timeframe? 3 - 6 months (Payor piece is minimum of 3 months)
How many references are required? 3
Do you need a complete file to grant temporary, emergency/disaster, or locum tenens privileges? YES
1. If so, when do these get approved? After review of completed file.
2. Do you have a calendar of committee meetings you are able to share with me?
Medical Staff meets on the first Tuesday of each month. Board of Directors meeting is on the fourth Wednesday of each month.
