About the Job:

We are seeking an experienced Physician (MD/DO) to join our clinical team. This role is responsible for providing primary care and diagnostic services, working collaboratively with the team to assist our patient population in chronic disease management and overall health promotion through individual intervention and ongoing education.

What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities):

  • Primary Care: Provide comprehensive primary care and diagnostic services to patients, including children ages 2+.

  • Intervention & Education: Assist patients in chronic disease management through individual interventions, clinic support, and ongoing education.

  • Treatment Planning: Prescribe appropriate medications, treatments, and health regimens to address patient health issues.

  • Virtual Care: Provide Virtual care to patients when needed and clinically appropriate.

  • Compliance: Comply with all medical laws and HIPAA standards.

What You’ll Bring to the Team (Minimum Qualifications):

  • Education & Training:

    • Degree from an accredited United States Medical School (MD/DO).

    • Must complete and pass a residency program in the United States.

  • Licensure & Certification (Required):

    • Current license in the state or states where the physician will practice.

    • Board Certified in primary care or another related field (or Board eligible, with a commitment to obtain certification).

    • DEA is required for prescribing and dispensing.

    • Ability to pass on-site credentialing.

  • Experience & Commitment:

    • Experience providing primary care and diagnostic services in a clinical setting.

    • Strong desire to promote health, disease management, and prevention.

Job Responsibilities

Job Description
General Summary: Clinician role responsible for providing direct patient care primarily in person in a health center, though some virtual visits are also possible.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Provide primary care for patients ages 2 and above
• Diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions across a wide variety of medical disciplines
• Ordering and reviewing diagnostic testing to include laboratory studies and imaging studies
• Making appropriate referrals to specialty care as needed
• Prescribing and refilling acute and chronic medications
• Performing minor procedures in the office according to appropriate training and medical necessity
• Completing patient paperwork to include FMLA forms, sports physicals, preoperative clearances, and physicals
• Serving as collaborative physician for advanced clinical practitioners (NP, PA) as needed.
• Coordination of care with other members of the treatment team (Behavioral Health, Health Coach, Physical Therapy, etc.)
• Working with Area Management Team in making clinical and operational improvements to clinic processes and workflows
• Working with clinical staff to provide clinical direction and education as needed
• Work with medical leadership on quality-of-care issues and initiatives
• Ability to perform and interpret ECG tracings
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Doctor of Medicine degree for accredited school.

Experience: Minimum 3-year Residency program in Family Practice, Internal Medicine, or other appropriate medical specialties.

Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current and valid Medical License; current and valid Board Certification or Board Eligibility in the appropriate medical specialty; valid and unrestricted DEA license; valid and current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.

Working Hours

Mondays at Bartlett 7a-5p lunch from 12-1,
Tuesdays at Collierville 8a-6p with 12-1 lunch,
Wednesday at Bartlett from 7a-5p with 12-1p lunch
Thursdays at Collierville from 7a-5p with a 12-1p lunch

Skills

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
