An independent, non-profit, community-based hospital, designated as a Critical Access Hospital in central Maine, is adding a Family Medicine with Obstetrics Physician. The hospital serves a broad rural region of Somerset County and provides 24/7 emergency services, inpatient and outpatient care, and a network of specialty and primary care physicians close to home.
About the opportunity:
- Outpatient FP with Obstetrics
- OB, Peds, GYN (colposcopies & LEEP procedures), geriatrics
- This is a 5-provider practice
- Call 1:7
- The office is located in a Medical Office Building attached to the hospital
Compensation/ Benefits:
- Employed position with a robust salary plus full benefits
- Loan reimbursement and relocation assistance are available
- 7 weeks PTO, including vacation, sick, holiday, CME
- $4000/year CME funds
Community/ Location:
- Located in central Maine, in a town of 8000 people
- One hour from Bangor and just 90 minutes to Portland
- 3 hours to Boston or Quebec, Canada
- We have a quaint town center with a cinema, shopping, restaurants, and a Riverwalk
- Outdoor recreation includes white water rafting, hiking, biking, snowshoeing, and trout fishing
