Job description
Seeking a BC/BE Family Medicine Physician with OB to join a well-established, patient-centered rural clinic in Omak, WA. This full-scope practice includes obstetrical care and the opportunity to work with a collaborative team of physicians and advanced practice providers. Flexible scheduling options support a strong work-life balance.
Job Responsibilities
Participate in shared call rotation for inpatient and OB
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic EMR
Collaborate with APPs and support staff in a rural care setting
Deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to a diverse patient population
Qualifications
MD or DO from an accredited medical institution
Board-certified/board-eligible in Family Medicine
Active or eligible Washington State medical license
Current DEA registration
Competency in obstetrical care, including deliveries
Preferred:
Previous rural or community-based practice experience
Interest in long-term commitment to a rural health setting
Working Hours
Hours: Typically 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Call: Shared call rotation, including OB
Skills
Strong decision-making and patient management skills
Effective communication with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Cultural sensitivity and adaptability to diverse populations
Time management and organizational abilities
Comfort supervising and collaborating with APPs
Commitment to providing high-quality, community-oriented care
