POSITION SUMMARY
Opportunity for a physician with sports medicine training to join an established orthopedic service within a large regional healthcare organization. The role focuses on the evaluation and management of sports-related and musculoskeletal conditions while working collaboratively with orthopedic specialists and a broad network of clinical services. The position is supported by extensive referral resources and access to modern hospital-based facilities.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Board-eligible or board-certified in Family Medicine and/or Sports Medicine.
• Residency training in Family Medicine.
• Fellowship training in Sports Medicine.
• Training or experience in Sports Medicine.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Kentucky.
COMPETENCIES
• Evaluation and treatment of sports-related injuries and musculoskeletal conditions.
• Collaboration with orthopedic surgeons and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.
• Development of patient-centered treatment and rehabilitation plans.
• Effective communication with patients, families, and referring providers.
• Commitment to evidence-based clinical care and continuity of treatment.
