Geriatrics, Active Aging and Palliative Care Physician in Rochester, MN
Located in Rochester, MN
Overview
* A health system in southeast Minnesota is seeking a BC/BE physician with geriatric experience for its Active Aging Services patients
* Experience in palliative care and adult mental health preferred, medical directorship experience a plus
* Part time, 0.75 FTE
* Care for residents in nursing homes, assisted living centers, clinics and patient homes
* Cover six Rochester nursing homes and one rural facility about 30 miles away, with back up coverage for another physician as needed
* Minimal after hours call by phone only, about once every 8 to 10 weeks
* Epic EMR
Qualifications
* BC/BE in Geriatrics, Internal Medicine or Family Medicine, MD or DO
* Active Minnesota medical license
* BLS
* Visa sponsorship is not available
Compensation & Benefits
* 0.75 FTE salary is $205,500
* Sign on bonus, relocation and stipend per qualification
* Medical, dental and vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k), CME, vacation and malpractice (0.5 FTE or higher)
