Job description
We are seeking a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician to provide comprehensive primary care services for an adult population with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in a residential setting. Responsibilities include conducting medical evaluations, diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions, managing complex care plans, prescribing medications, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to support optimal patient outcomes. Job Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive medical examinations, assessments, and ongoing evaluations
Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
Deliver facility-wide primary care services to residents
Manage chronic disease treatment plans, preventive care initiatives, and medication regimens
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes
Provide compassionate, patient-centered care tailored to residents' unique medical and behavioral needs
Qualifications
IL license, DEA, BC, and BLS
