Job description
A rapidly growing bilingual primary care practice is seeking a Spanish-speaking Nurse Practitioner (NP/FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join its outpatient team serving Hispanic and underserved communities throughout North Carolina.
This is an opportunity to build lasting patient relationships while providing comprehensive primary care in a collaborative, supportive environment.
Job Responsibilities
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
Provide annual physicals, wellness exams, preventive care, screenings, and immunizations
Manage conditions including diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, obesity, thyroid disorders, asthma, COPD, anxiety, depression, anemia, and musculoskeletal conditions
Order and interpret labs and diagnostic imaging
Prescribe medications and coordinate specialist referrals
Provide culturally sensitive patient education in Spanish and English
Support chronic disease management and preventive care
Maintain accurate documentation in athenaHealth
Collaborate with physicians, APPs, MAs, and administrative staff
Qualifications
Required:
Graduate of an accredited NP/FNP or PA program
Current NP/FNP or PA-C certification
Current North Carolina license or eligibility
DEA registration or eligibility, if required
Current BLS/CPR or ability to obtain
Fluent in Spanish and English
