growing healthcare group in the Atlanta, GA area is seeking a Primary Care Physician, MD/DO, to join its integrated primary care team.

This opportunity is a strong fit for a physician who enjoys relationship-driven primary care, preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and working within a collaborative care model. The physician will provide comprehensive primary care while partnering with APPs, behavioral health providers, nutrition professionals, care coordinators, and other clinical team members.

This is not a high-volume transactional clinic model. The focus is whole-person care, long-term outcomes, and coordinated support around the patient.

Position Highlights

• Compensation: Expected range $250,000–$300,000, depending on experience, schedule, and final offer structure
• Location: Atlanta, GA area
• Schedule: Full-time or part-time
• Setting: Integrated primary care / whole-person care model
• Collaborative team with APPs, behavioral health, nutrition, care coordination, and clinical support
• Focus on prevention, chronic disease management, wellness, and long-term patient relationships
• Physician will provide clinical oversight and collaboration for APPs

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care services
• Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
• Perform preventive visits, annual wellness visits, physicals, screenings, immunizations, and routine follow-ups
• Develop individualized care plans that may include medical care, behavioral health, nutrition, lifestyle, and preventive care
• Collaborate with APPs, behavioral health providers, nutrition professionals, care coordinators, nursing staff, and specialists
• Provide clinical guidance, case review, mentorship, and oversight for APPs
• Coordinate care with specialists, hospitals, community providers, and other members of the patient’s care team
• Support patient education, shared decision-making, and long-term health planning
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the EMR
• Participate in quality improvement, population health, and value-based care initiatives

Requirements

• MD or DO
• Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Active Georgia medical license, or ability to obtain prior to start
• Active DEA registration
• BLS certification, or ability to obtain prior to start
• Strong commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered primary care
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
• Comfortable working in a team-based care model
• Comfortable providing clinical oversight and support to APPs

Preferred

• Medicare enrolled or eligible
• 2+ years of outpatient primary care experience after residency
• Experience in team-based care, value-based care, population health, or integrated care models
• Interest in prevention, wellness, chronic care, and improving long-term patient outcomes
