A healthcare organization is seeking a Primary Care Physician for an outpatient adult primary care assignment in Houston, Texas. This locum role offers flexible scheduling at a single clinic location and calls for an experienced physician comfortable providing autonomous care.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Day
- Schedule: Monday to Friday (at least 2 days per week and a preference for 4 days per week)
- Hours: 8am to 5pm
- Setting: Outpatient primary care clinic
Responsibilities:
- Provide adult primary care services in an outpatient setting
- Deliver care independently as a sole provider when needed
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat common primary care conditions
- Manage a typical daily patient load in a clinic environment
- Maintain continuity of care and support a single-location practice
Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree
- Board certification in Primary Care or a related specialty
- At least 2 years of Primary Care experience within the last 5 years
- Experience practicing autonomously as a sole provider
- Active Texas licensure or eligibility and required credentials to practice
Desired Skills:
- Experience in adult outpatient primary care
- Availability for a 4-day-per-week schedule
