Geriatric Medicine Physician Opening in Burlington, MA - Located 12 miles from Boston Details:

  • Full-time, permanent opening
  • The Division of Palliative Care and Geriatric Medicine is seeking a board certified/eligible Geriatric Medicine Physician to help develop and lead an inpatient geriatrics consultation service.
  • 40 hour / week work schedule
  • Pay Range: $220,000 - $240,000
About Hospital & Medical Center: Physician-led, multi-disciplinary group practice of 600+ doctors. 317-bed tertiary care facility with outpatient clinics and a Level I trauma center in Burlington, MA. Multiple locations in the northern and western suburbs of Boston (Burlington, Peabody, Arlington, and Lynnfield). Excellent school systems, abundant cultural activities, and convenient access to mountains and seacoast. Fully integrated EPIC EHR platform. Responsibilities: Assist with developing an inpatient geriatric consultation service Provide consultation services as part of interdisciplinary care. Support LHMC’s plans to become an Age-Friendly Health System Teach geriatric care principles to interdisciplinary professional learners, including medical students and residents Commit to promoting quality care transitions. Qualifications: Completed Geriatric Medicine Fellowship training by hire date or demonstrate comparable experience. Board certified/eligible in Geriatric Medicine. Demonstrate passion for clinical geriatrics. Location Conveniently located, Burlington, Massachusetts is 17 miles north of Boston and a short drive to the mountains, lakes and seaside of New England as well as cultural opportunities of Boston.
