• We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Geriatric Medicine Physician (MD/DO) to join a well-established outpatient clinic in Klamath Falls, Oregon.
• The physician will provide comprehensive, patient-centered care to elderly patients, focusing on the management of complex medical conditions, functional health, and quality of life.

Job Responsibilities
• Diagnose and manage chronic conditions such as dementia, hypertension, diabetes, and cardiovascular diseases
• Conduct comprehensive geriatric assessments including cognitive and functional evaluations
• Develop individualized care plans focusing on patient safety, independence, and quality of life
• Review and manage medications to minimize polypharmacy risks
• Coordinate care with specialists, caregivers, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Educate patients and families on disease management, preventive care, and healthy aging
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
Qualifications
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Geriatric Medicine or Internal Medicine with geriatrics experience
• Active or eligible Oregon medical license
• DEA certification or eligibility
• Strong commitment to caring for elderly patients
Working Hours
• Monday – Friday outpatient clinic schedule
• Day shift with a collaborative care team
Skills
• Ability to manage complex, multi-morbidity cases
• Excellent communication and patient/family counseling skills
• Team-oriented approach to interdisciplinary care
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR)
