Job description
We are seeking BC/BE Physicians (FM/IM/Geriatrics) for a locum tenens opportunity beginning May 2026 through November 30, 2026.
Schedule: Monday–Friday
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
No call required
Position Overview:
Provide comprehensive primary care to PACE participants
Manage chronic and acute medical conditions
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings
Coordinate care with nursing, social work, and therapy staff
Document patient encounters in EPIC EMR
Deliver care in clinic, home, and/or nursing home settings as assigned
Patient Panel & Coverage Model
Smaller patient panels (~70 patients) due to high complexity
Assignments may include:
Dedicated patient panel management
Onsite phone/in-basket coverage
Nursing home coverage
Clinic and home visits
Strong interdisciplinary support team in place
Requirements:
Active Massachusetts license (required)
Board Certified/Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatrics (Physicians)
Experience with complex geriatric or high-risk populations strongly preferred
