Join the team in Middlebury, Vermont as a Family Medicine, Geriatrician, or Internal Medicine Physician, providing care at a long-term care facility. This role involves direct patient care in a supportive environment.
About the Opportunity:
- Hybrid or Remote: Not applicable
- Shift: 8-hour shifts
- Schedule: Monday through Friday
- Hours: 8 am to 5 pm
- Setting: Long-term care facility
Responsibilities:
The Family Medicine, Geriatrician, or Internal Medicine Physician will be responsible for:
- Providing daily care to residents in a 98-bed facility
- Managing a patient load of 8-12 patients per day
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
- Documenting patient progress and treatment plans
- Ensuring high-quality care standards
Qualifications:
- Experience in a similar role
- Medical degree with relevant specialization
- Board certification in Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or Internal Medicine
- Proficient in patient care management
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively
- Empathetic and patient-focused approach
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented and organized
Desired Skills:
- Experience in a long-term care setting
