Located in Fort Wayne, IN – Indianapolis 120m

Seeking BC/BE Endocrinologist
No Visa Assistance
Overview:
* Join an established Endocrinology practice with an immediate patient base through a planned physician succession
* Practice is approximately 90% outpatient and 10% inpatient consultative care
* Flexible scheduling with the option for a 4-day workweek
* Average volume of 18–25 patients per day
* Treat a broad range of endocrine conditions including Diabetes, Thyroid, Pituitary and Adrenal Disorders, Osteoporosis, Bone Health and Reproductive Endocrinology
* Manage insulin pumps and Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM)
* Thyroid Fine Needle Aspiration experience preferred but not required
* Minimal call consisting primarily of phone coverage and backup support for APPs
* Less than 1 after-hours call per week on average with minimal weekend responsibilities
* Strong clinical support from 5 APPs, including 3 NPs assisting with call coverage
* Additional support includes a Certified Diabetes Educator, Registered Dietitian, nursing staff and Medical Assistants
* Hospitalist support for admissions with Bariatric and Thyroid Surgery collaboration
* Strong referral network of 54 Primary Care providers throughout Northeast Indiana, Northwest Ohio and Southern Michigan
* Cerner EMR
* Opportunities for leadership, telemedicine, clinical research and development of subspecialty interests
* Academic affiliation with a medical school and local residency program
