A well-established, mission-driven healthcare organization in the Augusta, GA area is seeking a Board-Certified Endocrinologist to join its growing outpatient practice. Responsibilities
• Diagnose and treat endocrine and metabolic disorders, including:
o Diabetes
o Thyroid disorders
o Adrenal and pituitary disorders
o Osteoporosis
o Metabolic syndrome
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based guidelines
• Interpret laboratory results and diagnostic studies
• Educate patients on disease management and lifestyle modifications
• Collaborate with primary care providers and interdisciplinary teams
• Complete timely and accurate documentation in the EMR
• Participate in quality improvement and population health initiatives
Qualifications
• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Board Certified in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism
• Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency and Endocrinology fellowship
• Active, unrestricted Georgia medical license required
• Current DEA registration and BLS/ACLS certification
• Experienced endocrinologists and recently trained physicians are encouraged to apply
