• Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible endocrinologist

• Open to experienced physicians and new graduates

• One to three years of outpatient endocrinology experience preferred

• ASAP start available; future start dates accommodated for physicians completing training

• Outpatient-only opportunity

• Shared telephone call approximately every six weeks

• No hospital responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of endocrine conditions

• Provide comprehensive diabetes care with support from certified diabetes educators and registered dietitians

• Perform physical examinations, order diagnostic testing, and develop individualized treatment plans

• Prescribe medications and provide ongoing disease management and preventive health recommendations

• Deliver patient-centered care that addresses patients’ physical and psychosocial needs

• Maintain complete and accurate medical records

• Collaborate with the clinical team and participate in educational programs and staff meetings

• Team-based environment with RN support, a dedicated MA (1:1), and an APP

• APP practices independently

• Multispecialty group with multiple specialties onsite

• Patient population includes commercially insured, Medicaid, and Medicare patients, as well as underserved communities

• EMR: Epic

• MD, DO, or foreign equivalent required

• Completion of an accredited internal medicine residency and endocrinology fellowship required before starting

• Board certified or truly board eligible in internal medicine and endocrinology

• Active, unrestricted New York State medical license or eligibility for licensure required

• DEA registration or eligibility to obtain

• Medicare/Medicaid enrollment or eligibility to enroll

• BLS or ACLS required; both strongly preferred

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Interest in population health management

• Comfortable using an EMR and Microsoft Office

• Annual base salary range: $320,000-$360,000

• Compensation based on experience, education, training, internal equity, and market conditions; new hires may not start at the top of the range
