Position Overview
We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Endocrinologist to join an established, physician-led, multi-specialty outpatient practice in Nassau County.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced endocrinologist seeking clinical autonomy, excellent work-life balance, a strong patient base, and a long-term partnership opportunity within a growing practice.
The practice offers modern outpatient facilities, strong internal referrals, experienced clinical and administrative support, and an integrated multi-specialty environment.
Locations
Providers may work across multiple outpatient locations in Nassau County, including:
Plainview, NY
Massapequa, NY
Levittown, NY
Specific location assignments will be discussed based on practice needs and physician preference.
Key Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive endocrinology evaluations and consultations.
Diagnose and manage a broad range of endocrine and metabolic conditions.
Develop individualized treatment plans.
Manage conditions including:
Diabetes
Thyroid disorders
Osteoporosis
Adrenal disorders
Pituitary disorders
Other endocrine and metabolic conditions
Order and interpret appropriate laboratory and diagnostic studies.
Prescribe medications and adjust treatment plans as clinically appropriate.
Educate patients regarding disease management, nutrition, lifestyle, and preventive care.
Coordinate care with primary care physicians and other specialists.
Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation.
Provide high-quality, evidence-based outpatient care.
Patient Volume
Approximately 20-30 patients per day
Qualifications
MD or DO
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology
Eligible for New York State medical licensure
Minimum 3 years of clinical experience
Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
Comfortable working in a high-volume outpatient setting
Commitment to patient-centered care
Willingness to work across multiple locations as needed
Interest in long-term practice growth and partnership
New graduates are not being considered
