### Locums | Endocrinology | Outpatient Clinic | Scarborough, ME ### Why This Role

  • Outpatient-only endocrinology practice
  • No call, nights, or weekends
  • Flexible 4x10 or 5x8 weekday schedule
  • Six-month assignment with potential to extend to one year
  • Established multidisciplinary endocrinology and diabetes team ###
Assignment Details Start Date: ASAP End Date: Initial 6-month assignment with potential extension Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Setting: Ambulatory Outpatient Endocrinology Clinic Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday (4x10s) or flexible 5x8s Call: None Weekends: None Patient Volume: 16–20 patients per day EMR: Epic ### Clinical Details Outpatient endocrinology and diabetes management New patient evaluations Hospital discharge follow-up visits Established patient follow-up care Comprehensive diabetes management Collaborative practice with 11 endocrinologists and 4 APPs Thyroid FNA experience welcomed but not required Onsite Certified Diabetes Educators providing diabetes education, pump training, and nutrition support ### Requirements Board Certified in Endocrinology Active Maine license or Active IMLC Letter of Qualification preferred (licensing candidates considered) Epic EMR experience Thyroid FNA experience preferred Two supervisor references and one peer reference from the past 12 months COVID and influenza vaccination
