Job description
We are seeking an Endocrinology physician for a permanent position in Cedar Park, Texas, approximately 20 minutes from downtown Austin. This is a permanent placement with a well-established, physician-led private practice specializing in 100% outpatient endocrinology, with an eventual partnership opportunity. Please see below for more information.
- Private practice located in a recently built multi-specialty medical complex
- In-house ultrasound machine and dedicated procedure room
- Continuous glucose monitoring and peripheral artery assessment tools on site
- Support staff trained to download glucose sensors and insulin pumps
- Dedicated prior authorization team
- Athena EHR, with Klara for patient text communication
- Balanced patient population ranging from young adults to seniors
- Eventual partnership opportunity
- Mentorship, continuing medical education, and professional growth opportunities available
Job Responsibilities
Evaluate new patients in 30-minute appointments and manage follow-up visits in 15-minute appointments
Perform in-house ultrasound and procedure-room based endocrinology procedures
Manage continuous glucose monitoring and insulin pump therapy
Perform peripheral artery assessment as clinically indicated
Develop proficiency in advanced endocrinological procedures and technologies, with training available
Provide call coverage at a nearby hospital as needed
