Job description
We are seeking an Endocrinologist for a locum tenens position in Mount Vernon, Illinois. This is an outpatient endocrinology clinic opportunity within an acute care hospital system. Please see below for more information.
- Epic EMR
Job Responsibilities
Manage common endocrine conditions including hyperthyroidism, hypothyroidism, Graves' disease, thyroid nodules, pituitary disorders, and diabetes
Perform fine needle aspiration (FNA) as clinically indicated
Maintain an outpatient clinic volume of approximately 12-15 patients daily
Practice as the solo physician in the clinic, working collaboratively with an advanced practice provider
Complete accurate and timely documentation in Epic
Qualifications
Board Certified in Internal Medicine
Fellowship training in Endocrinology required
Active Illinois medical license required
DEA required
Illinois Controlled Substance License required
BLS required
Epic charting experience required
Working Hours
Last patient scheduled at 4:15 p.m.
