Locums | Endocrinology | Scarborough, ME (any state license accepted or IMLC) Why This Role

  • Any state license accepted (ME obtained during credentialing) or IMLC
  • No call, no weekends
  • 4-day work week (4x10s or 5x8s, flexible)
  • Board certified
  • 6-month contract with potential to extend to a year — locums-to-perm potential
Assignment Details Start/end: 6-month contract with opportunity for 1 year (pending recruiting and locum performance) Schedule: Full-time — Mon/Tue/Wed/Fri 4x10s, or flexible to 5x8s; no call, no weekends Coverage type: Ambulatory outpatient clinic Volume: 16-20 patients/day (dependent on 8- or 10-hour shift) Setting: Endocrinology and diabetes center; regional hub for diabetes services Support: 11 physicians, 4 APPs; onsite certified diabetes educators for patient education, pump starts, and dietary guidance EMR: Epic (experience required) Credentialing: Timeframe not specified Clinical Details Required scope: Outpatient endocrinology and diabetes — hospital discharge, new patients, and follow-up visits Preferred scope: Thyroid FNA (welcomed, not required) Requirements Board certified in Endocrinology License: any state accepted or IMLC Epic experience required Active DEA Compensation Rate negotiable, open to your number Malpractice provided Travel and lodging reimbursed
