Job description
We are seeking an Endocrinologist for a permanent position at a well-established private clinic in Cedar Park, Texas, a growing community about 20 minutes from downtown Austin. This is a 100% outpatient endocrinology practice in a recently-built, multi-specialty medical complex, with an eventual partnership opportunity. Please see below for more information.
- 100% outpatient endocrinology in a well-established private clinic
- 22-24 patients per day (new patients 30 minutes, revisits 15 minutes)
- Balanced patient population from young adults to seniors
- In-house ultrasound machine and procedure room; continuous glucose monitoring; peripheral artery assessment tools
- Athena EHR; Klara patient texting system; dedicated Prior Authorization team
- Trained support staff for glucose sensors and insulin pumps
- Mentorship, CME, and professional growth opportunities
Job Responsibilities
- See approximately 22-24 patients per day
- Manage diabetes, thyroid, and related endocrine disorders
- Perform in-house procedures using ultrasound and procedure room
- Utilize continuous glucose monitoring and related technologies
- Potential for call at a nearby hospital
Qualifications
- MD or DO
- Valid or in-progress Texas medical license
- Excellent clinical skills and patient-centered bedside manner
- Proficiency or interest in advanced endocrinological procedures and technologies
