A well-established Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Los Angeles is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Endocrinologist for its multidisciplinary outpatient practice. This is an opportunity to provide comprehensive endocrine care to a diverse and medically underserved patient population in a collaborative, mission-driven environment, on a predictable weekday schedule with a manageable patient volume.

Position Highlights

• $155-$160 per hour, approximately $322,000-$333,000 annually
• Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Outpatient only. No evenings, weekends, or call
• Approximately 16-18 patients per day
• Collaborative multidisciplinary care team
• NHSC-approved site with federal and state loan repayment opportunities

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage diabetes, thyroid disease, osteoporosis, adrenal disorders, and other endocrine conditions
• Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
• Interpret laboratory and diagnostic testing
• Coordinate care with primary care providers and specialists
• Educate patients on disease management, prevention, and lifestyle modification

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology
• Eligible for California medical licensure
• Active DEA registration, or the ability to obtain one
