Located in Waukee, IA – Des Moines 15m; Ames 40m; Iowa City 115m

Overview:
* Join an established endocrinology practice with two physicians and two APPs, with plans for continued growth
* Strong referral base with abundant new consults and a supportive hospitalist team providing inpatient coverage
* Currently no call or weekend responsibilities; anticipated future 1:4 call schedule with minimal weekend burden as the department expands
* Dedicated RN support for each provider, low staff turnover, and an in-office certified diabetes educator who sees new diabetes patients before physician visits
* Additional diabetes educators throughout the health system and gestational diabetes managed by Maternal-Fetal Medicine
* Ability to download and manage all insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitors, with on-site lab capabilities
* Average patient volume of 15-17 patients daily with optional opportunities to teach residents and medical students
* Fully integrated Epic EMR and 24/7 hospitalist coverage for adult and pediatric inpatients
