Position Overview
We are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Endocrinologist to join a well-established and growing healthcare system in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This opportunity offers the chance to provide comprehensive endocrine care in a collaborative, patient-focused environment while working alongside experienced physicians, advanced practice providers, and support staff.
The ideal candidate will diagnose and manage a broad range of endocrine and metabolic disorders, including diabetes, thyroid disease, osteoporosis, adrenal disorders, pituitary disorders, and other hormone-related conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with endocrine and metabolic disorders.
- Provide comprehensive outpatient endocrinology services.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
- Manage diabetes care, including insulin therapies and advanced diabetes technologies.
- Interpret laboratory results, imaging studies, and diagnostic procedures.
- Collaborate with primary care providers and specialists to coordinate patient care.
- Educate patients and families on disease management, preventive care, and lifestyle modifications.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record system.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and multidisciplinary care programs.
Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism.
- Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine Residency and Endocrinology Fellowship.
- Eligible for or currently holding a Michigan medical license.
- Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
