Position Overview:
We are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Endocrinologist for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity at a 200-bed, Level I Trauma Center. This role offers a balanced mix of inpatient consults and outpatient care with a flexible block schedule.
Location: Staten Island, NY
Schedule:
- 7 on / 7 off (Monday–Monday rotations)
- 8-hour daytime shifts
- Includes 2 weekends per month
- Call required (1–2 weeks per month)
Practice Details:
- Primarily inpatient consultative role
- Low patient volume (approx. 2–3 patients/hour)
- Mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities
- EMR: Meditech (inpatient) & Athena (outpatient)
Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology
- Active New York medical license required
