Endocrinologist Opportunity – Lewiston, ME
Position Highlights:
Full-time employed Endocrinology opportunity
Join a growing endocrinology program within an integrated healthcare system
Collaborative, physician-focused practice environment
Serve a broad regional patient population across central and western Maine
Strong referral network with support from primary care and specialty providers
Clinical Responsibilities:
Diagnose and manage endocrine disorders including diabetes, thyroid disease, osteoporosis, and metabolic conditions
Provide comprehensive outpatient endocrinology care
Develop individualized treatment plans focused on long-term disease management and prevention
Educate patients on lifestyle modifications, medication management, and chronic disease prevention
Collaborate closely with primary care physicians and specialists across the system
Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation
Practice Environment:
Established multispecialty healthcare network with extensive regional reach
Integrated healthcare delivery system serving approximately 400,000 residents

Opportunity to build and grow an endocrinology practice within a collaborative setting
Qualifications:
MD or DO degree
Completion of accredited Endocrinology fellowship training
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism
Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Maine
