INTERNAL MEDICINE – ENDOCRINOLOGY, DIABETES AND METABOLISM

POSITION SUMMARY
The Department seeks an endocrinology specialist to join an expanding outpatient practice supported by dedicated clinical staff. The role focuses on the evaluation and management of endocrine and metabolic disorders within a large referral network. The position contributes to a growing program recognized for its diabetes care and operates in a modern clinical environment adjacent to hospital services.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Board-eligible or board-certified in Internal Medicine and/or Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism.
• Residency training in internal medicine.
• Training or experience in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Illinois.
• Interest in outpatient endocrine and metabolic care.
COMPETENCIES
• Ability to manage a broad range of endocrine and metabolic conditions.
• Skill in collaborating with clinical support staff and multidisciplinary colleagues.
• Commitment to patient-centered specialty care.
• Effective communication within a large referral network.
• Capacity to support a busy outpatient practice.
WORK SETTING & ENVIRONMENT
Work Environment: Outpatient; Clinic/Private Practice
• Outpatient-only endocrinology practice with no call or inpatient duties.
• Collaboration with a board-certified endocrinologist and dedicated support staff.
• Access to modern clinical facilities adjacent to hospital services.
• Use of industry-standard EMR and advanced diagnostic resources.
• Integration within a multispecialty system with broad specialty support.
