A private practice located in Manhattan is actively seeking a patient-oriented and dynamic Endocrinologist to join their growing medical staff.
Responsibilities
The Endocrinologist ensures exceptional care services are accessible to patients at all times. Other details include:
- Visit 12-16 patients per day
- Diagnose and treat patients with type 1 and type 2 diabetes.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management, lifestyle modifications, and patient education.
- Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress and laboratory results.
- Diagnose and manage thyroid conditions such as hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, thyroid nodules, and thyroid cancer.
- Perform and interpret thyroid function tests and imaging studies.
- Provide treatment options including medication, radioactive iodine therapy, and surgery referrals.
- Evaluate and treat patients with low testosterone levels.
- Conduct thorough assessments to determine the underlying causes of low testosterone.
- Develop treatment plans that may include hormone replacement therapy and lifestyle changes.
- Diagnose and manage PCOS in patients.
Qualifications
- M.D., D.O.
- Board Eligible / Certified
- 2+ years experience
- Licensed in NYS
