This medical center is a leading healthcare institution serving Alaska's largest metropolitan area, providing comprehensive pediatric specialty services to children and families throughout the region. The facility offers advanced medical technology and a supportive environment for both patients and healthcare providers.
Opportunity:
Physician - Pediatrics - Endocrinology
Job Details:
• Full-time coverage split between two weeks per month in clinic and two weeks per month virtual hospital call coverage
• In-person clinic hours 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with night call during weekdays and 24-hour weekend call coverage
• Two weeks of virtual call coverage (not onsite) providing 24-hour daily coverage
• Seeking candidates for long-term, ongoing in-person work and virtual call coverage for continuity of care
• Handle approximately 15 patient encounters per shift
• Board certification required with ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• Must maintain active Alaska medical license or ability to obtain temporary license while full licensure processes
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 90 days
• Overtime compensation after 40 clinical hours per week
• Level 2 trauma facility with Level 2 pediatric capabilities
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
