Position Summary

The facility is seeking an Endocrinologist to join its expanding specialty team in Bronx, New York. This is a full-time opportunity .

This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a collaborative, multi-specialty environment with strong referral support from internal primary care providers and specialists. The Endocrinologist will focus on diagnosing and managing a wide range of endocrine disorders within a patient-centered, evidence-based care model.

The role is primarily outpatient, offering a consistent schedule and strong administrative support to promote efficiency and work-life balance.

Essential Position Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive outpatient endocrinology services.

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage endocrine disorders including diabetes (Type 1 & 2), thyroid disorders, adrenal disorders, pituitary conditions, osteoporosis, metabolic disorders, and hormonal imbalances.

  • Interpret laboratory results, imaging studies, and diagnostic testing related to endocrine conditions.

  • Develop individualized treatment plans, including medication management and lifestyle counseling.

  • Manage insulin therapies, continuous glucose monitoring (CGM), and other advanced diabetic care modalities.

  • Collaborate with primary care physicians and other specialists to ensure coordinated, comprehensive care.

  • Educate patients on disease management, preventive care, and long-term health optimization.

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic health record (EHR).

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and interdisciplinary meetings.

Qualifications

Education:

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.

Board Certification:

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism.

Licensure:

  • Active or eligible medical license in New York.

  • DEA registration (or eligibility).

Experience:

  • Prior outpatient endocrinology experience preferred.

  • Fellows completing training are encouraged to apply.
